Odiham is a picturesque market town in North Hampshire, not far from Basingstoke, steeped in historical architecture and is a
designated Conservation Area, containing one of the richest collections of historic buildings in Hampshire.
The Domesday Book records Odiham as a large royal manor, which subsequently thrived under royal patronage in medieval times.
Nestling on the banks of the Basingstoke Canal, Odiham and the surrounding areas, also boast some of the best countryside and canal
walks in Hampshire. There is a range of attractive walks across open countryside, through the village, by the River Whitewater and over
different commons - all of which give the opportunity for great views and to see nature at its best
If you’re looking for an English country pub in a wonderful waterside location, visit the Waterwitch pub. Situated on the banks of the
Basingstoke Canal with extensive gardens stretching right to the water’s edge, it’s the ideal stop off point if you’re out enjoying a
relaxing canal side walk, bike ride or boat trip around Odiham.
